School Of the Star is an educational board game that combines with some self-reflection activities and quizzes

There are Objective (multiple choice)  questions, Subjective questions,  Quick (time race) questions. and Activities other than questions and messages from the game for you (or your student)

This game can be played for many purposes. It can also be used for online teaching, tutoring, positive reinforcement and indirect advice.

You can choose to play from sample quizzes or make you own with In Game tools and edit file questions with simple text editor.

This game have some inspiration from children who suffer from online education in this covid-19 pandemic, i wish this game may help them in some way

This game is also a tribute to the RPG Maker series and my home language "Thai". Both have grace for me.

Game features :

• Two separate question sets, between JS file set and In Game set, you can edit them both without special program.
• In game play there are answering questions, getting advice for life, self review and activities with friends.
• Can customize the rules of the game Choose a play mode and play up to 10 players.
• There are three types of questions that can be customized in many ways, such as adding pictures, opening answers, multiple answers, timing etc depending on the type of question.
• In-game text can also be customized. Can tell the purpose of answering questions, suggestions, or telling a story
• Choose a character at the start of the game. Roll the dice in different ways. There is a record of answering questions, etc.

This game made by me , Anurak Menrum in the name of Dhammaliterary Institution project (สถาบันธรรมวรรณศิลป์) (www.dhammaliterary.org) from Thailand. A Dream Your Way Game Series are the project to build some educational game for help people.

How to edit JS File Questions Set

you can edit with text editor program  like Notepad or TextEdit.

In windows version . files locate in js/plugins folder (open game folder ->  js  -> plugins)

In mac version. you must open game folder and right click file "Game" and choose "Show Package Contents" and -> Contents/Resources/app.nw/js and then "plugins"

List of editable file

• "_GameInfo" are about text info , game rule
• "_QuestionsObj" are Objective Questions set (Multiple choice) data
• "_QuestionsSub" are Subjective Questions set data
• "_QuestionsQuick"  are Quick Questions set (time race) data
• "_QuestionsFinal" are Final Questions [limit with 12 questions , others questions no limit]
• and more with files start with "_"
